How do I play?
Tap the bobber button to start. Swipe up on the water to cast. When a fish bites, it hooks itself; then spin a finger around the big orange reel button, or just hold it, to reel in. The voice explains each step.
A fish got away
Now and then a fish pulls free while it is being reeled in. That never happens to a child's first fish, and never twice in a row. Just cast again.
The aquarium
After a catch, tap the fish or the bowl button to put it in the aquarium; the X lets it go back into the lake. In the aquarium, tap anywhere to drop food. Fed fish grow and drop coins and pearls; tap them to collect, and spend them in the treasure-chest shop on decorations. These coins only exist in the game.
My child keeps leaving the game
A quick swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen is the iPhone and iPad home gesture. To keep a young child inside the game, turn on Guided Access: Settings › Accessibility › Guided Access, then triple-click the side or home button while the game is open.
Is there sound and a voice?
Yes. Make sure the device is not muted and the volume is up.
